161 Arabian horses participated in the 6th Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup show in Egypt.
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS), and with the follow-up of Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the EAHS, the 6th Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup Show of the 2024 season (EAHGC) took place in the city of El Alamein on the northern coast of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The championship featured 161 Arabian horses from 65 owners and spanned over three days, with intense competition during the qualifying rounds leading up to the finals.
The winners were crowned by the Director-General of the EAHS, Mohamed Ahmed Al Harbi. Anwaar Al Farida from Al Farida Stud took the gold in the Yearling Fillies Championship, while Rahma Al Mozn owned by Al Mozn Stud received the silver medal, and Sukar Al Farida won the bronze. In the Junior Fillies Championship, Bahga Al Farida secured the gold, Taya Max Mareen from Al Thaqib Stud received the silver, and Malika Al Hamd from Ahmedeyat Al Hamd won the bronze.
The Senior Mare Championship saw Ayla El Gabry Ox from El Gabry Stud clinching the win, with Aysha Al Baydaa from Al Baydaa Stud taking the silver, and Sayedah Al Farida from Al Farida Stud securing the bronze. Al Farida Stud also dominated the Yearling Colts Championship, with Bassam Al Farida winning gold, Salim Al Saragihna from Al Saraghna Stud taking the silver, and Baareg Al Farida settling for bronze.
Fakhr Al Gammal from Al Gammal Stud emerged as the top performer in the Junior Colts Championship, followed by Shaikh Al Yasser from Al Yasser Stud with the silver, and Baseem Al Masry securing the bronze. Bebars Al Farida claimed the golden medal in the Senior Stallions Championship, followed by Safir Al Khaldon from Aal Ewayan Stud with the silver, and Karawan El Gabry Ox from El Gabry Stud with the bronze.
After the event, Al Harbi expressed his satisfaction with the success of the show, stating that it was in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan. He emphasized the large participation of 161 horses, the largest number in the 1st edition of the EAHGC, and announced that the 7th show will be held in Brazil on the 7th of July.
Nasir Taleb Mushtahi, owner of Al Shorouq Stud, expressed gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan for their support and supervision. He praised the successful organization of the event and pointed out the high-quality participation by Egyptian studs. Mushtahi highlighted the strength and excellence of the championship, as well as the proper media exposure it provided.
