A 6.2 magnitude earthquake has hit near the coast of Venezuela.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 on the Richter scale struck near the coast of Venezuela today. The epicenter of the earthquake was recorded at a depth of 93 kilometers, according to the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences.
