Armenia's Foreign Ministry has recognized Palestine's statehood.

Armenia has officially recognized Palestine as a state, according to a statement from the Armenian Foreign Ministry. With this recognition, the number of UN member states that acknowledge the statehood of Palestine has increased to 148 out of 193. The ministry's statement, reported by Reuters, also noted that Armenia supports the UN resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and is in favor of a two-state solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
