Armenia's recognition of Palestinian statehood is welcomed by Egypt.

The Arab Republic of Egypt has welcomed the Republic of Armenia's decision to officially recognize the State of Palestine. In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this evening, Egypt called for the continuation of these appreciated efforts by all parties in the international community, in an effort to create a political horizon that allows for the revival of a real peace process that addresses the roots and causes of the Palestinian issue.
