In the first eight months of the year, yuan-denominated loans in China increased by 14.43 trillion yuan (approximately US$2 trillion), according to data from the central bank released on Friday. The M2, which is a broad measure of money supply covering cash in circulation and all deposits, grew by 6.3 percent year-on-year to reach 305.05 trillion yuan by the end of August, as reported by Xinhua News Agency.
