Dubai Airport has decided to temporarily restrict the number of flight arrivals for the next two days.
Dubai International Airport (DXB) has announced measures to expedite the recovery of its operations following the recent unprecedented weather conditions. In order to support the affected passengers and to speed up the recovery process, the airport has temporarily limited the number of arriving flights from 12 PM on 19 April for a period of 48 hours. DXB is making every effort to provide assistance to guests impacted by delays due to recent weather disruptions.
In an effort to minimize passenger inconvenience, DXB has advised departing passengers to come to the airport only if their airline has confirmed the flight's departure and to aim to reach the terminal no more than two hours before departure.
Emirates has also announced the suspension of check-in for travellers with onward connections through Dubai today, Friday April 19, while Air India has cancelled flights to and from Dubai until April 21, due to the operational disruptions at DXB.
Affected customers are being offered a one-time waiver on rescheduling and full refunds for cancellations. DXB and the airlines are working together to keep passengers informed and minimize the impact of these disruptions.
