This project aims to enhance the road infrastructure in the city, making it more convenient and accessible for everyone.
The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a new road improvement project that will see the construction of bridges spanning more than 3,000 meters to ease traffic congestion and make it easier to get between different points in the city. The Al Khail Improvement Project will cover a 6,820-meter area along Al Khail Road, including Zabeel, Meydan, Al Qouz 1, Ghadeer Al Tair, and Jumeirah Village Circle. The expansion project is valued at Dhs700 million and aims to widen the existing road's capacity to accommodate 4,800 vehicles per hour. The project was announced due to a directive from HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of UAE, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai.
