Dubai Municipality has started a project to enhance the Dubai Creek pier and upgrade the supporting walls.

Dubai Municipality has launched a project to rebuild and rehabilitate the supporting walls along the Deira side of Dubai Creek for AED 112 million. The project aims to upgrade the dock, reconstruct damaged sections, and prevent flooding during harsh weather conditions. The initial phase will involve restoring a 2.1 km stretch along the Deira side of Dubai Creek, followed by another phase. The project will also improve safety measures for maritime traffic and commercial operations within Dubai Creek and enhance the efficiency of the marine docks on both banks. The project's timeline is 14 months.
