Emirates provides access to 1,700 global cities outside its network.
Over the past year, Emirates has greatly expanded its network, now offering flights to nearly 1,700 additional cities. This expansion has allowed more than 61,000 passengers per week to make seamless connections through Emirates and its partner airlines.
Emirates has been actively forming new partnerships and strengthening existing ones in the transportation industry. As a result, the airline now offers a wide range of travel options, with 31 codeshare partners, 118 interline partners, and 13 rail and helicopter services partners in over 100 countries. This network expansion provides travelers with better connectivity, single-ticket itineraries, improved baggage transfers, frequent flyer benefits, lounge access, and other perks to enhance their travel experience.
Emirates has also added 16 new partnerships in the last year, including codeshares with Avianca and Batik Air Malaysia, and interline arrangements with KAM Air, Sri Lankan Airlines, Condor, Flynas, Viva Aerobus, Sun Express, Maldivian, Siberia Airlines, and Kenya Airways.
In addition to air travel, Emirates now offers seamless connections to cities across Europe through codeshare partnerships with Trenitalia, Spanish Rail Renfe, Austrian Rail OBB, and Swedish Rail SJ. Emirates has also partnered with BLADE, an urban air-mobility company, to provide helicopter flights between Nice and Monaco on a single ticket, marking the first full-service carrier to enter into this type of interline partnership.
Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates Airline, stated, "In the last year, we’ve made significant strides in expanding our global presence and networks by forming strategic partnerships with like-minded airlines, rail partners, and air mobility operators. Our goal is to offer travelers an unparalleled choice of destinations, connectivity options, and seamless 'last mile' access. While we will always prioritize organic growth, we are committed to utilizing our partners' complementary networks to ensure our customers can reach every corner of the globe in the easiest way possible. This expansion aligns with Dubai’s strategy to become the most connected city in the world, driving business, tourism, and investment from across the globe."
