Emirates has announced that it will operate daily flights to Bogotá via Miami on widebody three-class Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The airline's flights in the Bogotá-Miami sector will introduce premium services on the popular route. These include lie-flat seats in First and Business Class, a generous baggage allowance, complimentary dining, and in-flight entertainment. Bogotá will become Emirates' fourth gateway in South America, and the airline's network will expand to 19 points across the Americas.

Emirates announced today that it is launching a new daily service from Dubai to the Colombian capital, Bogotá, starting on 3 June. The service will connect Colombia with the United Arab Emirates and establish the first link between the greater Middle East region and the northern part of the South American continent. Emirates Airlines plans to add another destination in South America, expanding its network to four gateways. This move will complement the airline's scheduled services to São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Buenos Aires. The new destination will also improve Emirates' operations in the Americas by serving 19 points across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia.

The daily services will link Dubai and Bogotá via Miami, with Emirates being the first airline to offer premium services on the popular route between South Florida and Colombia.

Emirates is launching a new direct route connecting Bogotá and Miami with its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The aircraft has 354 seats across three cabins, including First Class and Business Class with lie-flat seats. Emirates' customers will enjoy complimentary food and beverages and a generous free baggage allowance. The airline will offer up to 6,500 channels of entertainment content, including Spanish-language TV shows, movies, music, podcasts, games, and audiobooks, with its award-winning inflight entertainment system, ice.

The new services will offer up to 20 tonnes of cargo capacity on each flight, opening up global markets for Colombian exports, particularly perishable goods such as fresh flowers, fruits, and vegetables.

The launch of the new route is expected to strengthen trade, investment, and tourism between Colombia and the U.S. Emirates' flights will provide convenient inbound connections to Bogotá through Dubai from 78 destinations in its extensive network, generating new passenger flows to Bogotá from high-growth markets such as the UAE, India, China, the broader Middle East, Far East, and Australasia.

Bogotá is known as the "Athens of South America" and is a major center for tourism, education, and culture. It is also a thriving hub for finance and has become a MICE destination due to its central location in the Americas.

Emirates' direct flights will make it easier for Colombian travelers to reach Florida, with Visit Florida's CEO, Dana Young, saying that "airlift expansion is crucial to increasing visitation and the economic impact tourism has on the state of Florida."
