Growth: Etihad Airways carried more than 1.4 million passengers in February 2024

Etihad Airways, a UAE-based airline, revealed that it carried more than 1.4 million passengers in February 2024, with its load factor averaging 89 percent.

The airline's preliminary traffic statistics also showed a 46% year-on-year growth in customer numbers, with passenger figures of 2.9 million, 40% higher than in February 2023.

The CEO, Antonoaldo Neves, highlighted the airline's growth strategy and fleet expansion, including adding three new 787-9s and announcing two new routes to Antalya, Turkey, and Jaipur, India, starting this year.
