flydubai lands in Basel

Flydubai has launched direct flights from Dubai to EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (BSL). This service operates four times a week, marking a significant expansion of the carrier's European network. With Basel, flydubai's European destinations now total 29, including cities such as Budapest, Catania, Krakow, Milan-Bergamo, Prague, Salzburg, and Zagreb.

Jeyhun Efendi, Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations and E-commerce at flydubai, expressed the airline's commitment to connecting underserved destinations and promoting trade and tourism. He highlighted the strategic importance of EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, which serves Switzerland, France, and Germany, making it a crucial hub for travel in the tri-border region. Additionally, he emphasized the convenience of Dubai as a connecting hub, offering access to popular holiday destinations in Kenya, the Maldives, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and Thailand for passengers traveling from Basel.
