International Charity Organisation has initiated a AED 3 million effort to rectify the status of violators.
The International Charity Organisation (ICO) has announced the launch of the 'Correction of the Status of Violators' initiative within the country, with a total fund of AED 3 million. The initiative aims to complete the residency issuance procedures for violators of entry and residency regulations, as part of the campaign to exempt them from fines. This campaign was launched by the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security.
Dr. Khalid Al Khaja, Secretary-General of the (ICO), explained that supporting national campaigns aligns with the ICO's approach, including this initiative, which aims to exempt individuals from residency fines and provides them with the opportunity to amend their status, ultimately aiming for a stable life for them and their families.
He further added that the ICO will accept 600 applications in the first phase of the initiative from those who meet the specified conditions.
