The 4th Abu Dhabi Neurology Conference will cover the latest treatments for severe migraines.
The Fourth Abu Dhabi Neurology Conference recently took place, focusing on the latest treatments and medications for migraines as well as advancements in neurology. The event, hosted by the Emirates Neurology Society and sponsored by Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) and the United Arab Emirates University, gathered experts, doctors, nurses, researchers, and specialists in the field of neurology from the UAE and beyond.
Dr. Naji Riachi, Consultant Neurologist at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SMC) and Chairman of the conference, emphasized that the aim of the conference was to discuss and share the latest developments and research results in the field of neuroscience through workshops, presentations, lectures, and discussions. On the first day, participants addressed neurological eye disorders, diagnostic techniques, and treatment methods. They also delved into new treatments for migraines, including nasal spray and intravenous treatments, as well as the effects of a new electrical stimulation device on motor symptoms and pain for patients.
The conference will continue for three days, covering various topics related to neurology such as multiple sclerosis, headaches, movement diseases, epilepsy, and the nervous system. It provides a platform for experts to exchange knowledge, collaborate, and share recent developments in neurodiagnosis, treatment, and research.
