The Council of Arab Finance Ministers will meet in Cairo on Wednesday.

The Arab Monetary Fund (AMF) is hosting the 15th regular session of the Council of Arab Finance Ministers in Cairo, Egypt, on Wednesday. This meeting is part of the annual joint meetings of Arab financial institutions and will be chaired by Nadia Fettah, Minister of Economy and Finance of the Kingdom of Morocco.

The attendees will include finance ministers of Arab countries, as well as observers from the Arab League, the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, and the Arab executive directors of both the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group.

Dr. Fahad M. Alturki, Director General and Chairman of the AMF Board of the Arab Monetary Fund, mentioned that the meeting provides an opportunity to discuss the challenges faced by financial policymakers in the Arab region within the context of regional and international economic and financial developments. He also commended the efforts of Arab countries in public finance reforms and emphasized their significance in achieving financial sustainability and supporting inclusive and sustainable growth in a complex economic environment.
