The Sharjah Arabic Language Academy has opened the Arabic Language Hall at Al Farabi University in Kazakhstan.

The Institute of Oriental Studies and the Arabic Language Department at Al Farabi Kazakh National University in the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the opening ceremony of the Arabic Language and Arab Culture Hall, as part of the collaboration agreement between the Sharjah Arabic Language Academy and the university. The establishment of the hall is in line with the directives of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and President of the Sharjah Arabic Language Academy, in support of various cultural initiatives.

During the ceremony, Dr. Mohamed Saffi Al Mostaghanemi, Secretary-General of the Academy, emphasized the efforts made by the Emirate of Sharjah to promote the Arabic language. He highlighted that the hall is equipped with modern tools for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, along with a specialized linguistic library that includes a dedicated section for books by the Ruler of Sharjah and publications of the Academy. Additionally, the hall features banners and artistic paintings that depict the history of the UAE and the strong international relations between the two countries, fostering closer ties between the two cultures.
