UAE has denounced Netanyahu's comment on their involvement in the Civil Administration of Gaza
During an interview with Dr Phil McGraw that aired on Thursday, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, stated that the Gaza Strip could have a civil administration with the participation of UAE and other countries, under Israeli occupation.
The statement made by Netanyahu was rejected by HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who stated that the UAE is not willing to participate in a civil administration for the Gaza Strip and is instead ready to support a Palestinian government that meets the aspirations and hopes of the Palestinian people.
Netanyahu suggested that some kind of civil administration by Gazans, who are not committed to causing the destruction of Israel, could be established with the assistance of the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and other countries that are interested in achieving stability and peace.
