UAE residents can apply e-visa for Morocco
The Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Abu Dhabi announced the introduction of e-visas for UAE residents. To be eligible, residents need a valid Emirates ID with at least 180 days of residency. Required documents include:
- A copy of the UAE residence visa.
- A passport copy is good for over 90 days.
- A passport-sized photograph.
The e-visa allows a 30-day stay within 180 days for a single entry.
The standard e-visa costs Dhs280.64 and takes three business days to process, while fast-tracking costs Dhs401 and is processed in one day.
UAE nationals do not require a visa for Morocco and can stay for 90 days.
Residents of the UAE can now obtain e-visas for Morocco, similar to the visa-on-arrival benefits in Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia. Morocco offers diverse attractions, from cultural sites to shopping experiences, making it a popular destination. Marrakesh, known for its medina and souqs, is a must-visit destination in Morocco.
