Please take note that fuel prices in the UAE are set to increase for March 2024. From March 1, 2024, Super 98 will increase from Dhs2.88 per litre to Dhs3.03 per litre. Special 95 will cost Dhs2.92 per litre in February 2024, and Diesel will cost Dhs3.16 per litre in March 2024.

Before August 2015, the UAE government used to subsidize the price of petrol, which meant that consumers were protected from the fluctuations in the global cost of petrol. However, the Ministry of Energy started setting the UAE fuel prices based on average global prices since August 2015.
