UAE took part in the 21st International Anti-Corruption Conference in Lithuania.

The UAE delegation, led by Humaid Obaid Abushibs, President of the UAE Accountability Authority (UAEAA), attended the 21st International Anti-Corruption Conference in Vilnius, Lithuania from June 18th to 21st. The conference focused on the theme "Confronting Global Threats: Standing Up for Integrity.”

The UAEAA's participation demonstrates the UAE government's dedication to fostering international dialogue and cooperation to uphold integrity on a global scale. Additionally, during the conference, the delegation held meetings with Linas Pernavas, President of the General Assembly of the European Partners Against Corruption (EPAC), European Union Anti-Corruption Contact Network (EACN), and Special Investigation Service (STT) in Lithuania, as well as Veronica Dragalin, Chief of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Moldova. These discussions aimed to explore opportunities for collaboration between the UAE and other participating nations to advance integrity efforts.
