UK's Black Sheep Coffee has opened its first UAE locations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Black Sheep Coffee, a British high-street favourite, is expanding to the UAE with its first stores opening in Dubai. Plans for expansion into the UAE have been in the offing for some time, with three planned for Dubai and one opening in Abu Dhabi. The first two stores will open this week, on Thursday February 29 at Boulevard Plaza and the Opera District in Dubai. This marks the first time that Black Sheep Coffee has opened outside of Europe, as the brand currently has stores across the UK and France with plans for expansion in the US also in the pipeline.

Black Sheep Coffee is a brand that uses Robusta beans instead of Arabica in its drinks. This gives the coffee a mix of walnut and dark chocolate taste profile, more caffeine, more protein and less acidity. Graffiti art on the walls gives the venue a rustic feel. Menu includes staples such as espresso, macchiato and piccolo, along with the region-exclusive Arabic latte which is available only in the Middle East.

Black Sheep Coffee is a coffee company that prides itself on the quality of its coffee and the ethical sourcing of its beans. The company was founded by Gabriel Shohet and Eirik Holth, who personally oversee the bean-sourcing process to ensure that each bean is of the highest quality and traceable back to the farm. They achieve this by visiting and purchasing directly from the original plantation.

The company sources beans from various global destinations, which allows them to offer a wide range of flavors and roast profiles to their customers. They are committed to supporting small-scale farmers and ensuring that they receive a fair price for their beans.

Black Sheep Coffee has two existing locations in the UAE, one at Boulevard Plaza Towers in Burj Khalifa and another at Act Two Tower in the Opera District. The coffee shops operate from 7 am to 11 pm from Monday to Sunday, except for the Opera District location, which is open until midnight.

In the next few weeks, Black Sheep Coffee is set to open two new locations in the UAE, one at Dubai Mall and another at Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi. These new locations will allow even more customers to experience the exceptional quality and taste of Black Sheep Coffee and support their commitment to ethical and sustainable coffee sourcing.
