Arab League appreciates Armenia's acknowledgment of Palestinian State.

The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, has welcomed Armenia's official recognition of the State of Palestine. He sees this as a significant step towards the establishment of the Palestinian State based on the borders of June 4, 1967. Aboul Gheit praised Armenia's decision as courageous, indicating that the country is taking the right stance in history.

He also highlighted that the increasing recognition of the Palestinian State demonstrates a growing international consensus on the need to end the occupation and implement a two-state solution. Aboul Gheit urged countries that have not yet recognized the State of Palestine to do so as soon as possible, emphasizing that this is a moral, legal, and politically correct step towards achieving peace and ending the occupation.
