Yousef Haidar of the UAE wins silver at the 2024 Skydive World Cup Series in Slovenia.

Yousef Haidar Sanqour, a member of the UAE skydiving team, won the second place and the silver medal in the Skydive World Cup Series (Skydive WCS) Lesce 2024, held in Bled, Slovenia. The competition had 224 competitors representing 45 teams from around the world.

Nasser Hamouda Al Neyadi, Chairman of the Emirates Aerosports Federation, emphasized that Sanqour's achievement is especially remarkable considering he competed against world champions. It reflects the significant development that the UAE national team athletes have achieved.
